Outdoor living is elevated by luxury landscaping, a fire pit, and a hot tub for year-round enjoyment of the lake. AWARD WINNING HOME VIRTUAL WALKTHROUGH Anchor 1 We cannot be more thankful for having found Amy Little and Home Comfort! When we started building our dream home, we knew we needed help to create a beautiful and functional space. We researched local lakes region designers and ended up hiring Amy. She and her team made the design and decorating process creative, effective, and enjoyable. Amy quickly understood our needs and style and created a cohesive theme throughout our property. She did an amazing job of bringing our ideas and vision for the house to reality. But as important, she also challenged us and took us out of our comfort zone at times, which ultimately resulted in the home being truly unique. She not only narrowed down the best choices and options, but was invaluable in communicating and collaborating with us and the builder so that everything came together seamlessly. We highly recommend Amy and the Home Comfort team for any project you imagine! Amy & Chris Daley

ON GOLDEN POND PROJECT INFO DESIGNER LOCATION An antique filled alternative to the classic Lake House, these clients embraced the rustic side of lake living. Thoughtfully utilizing a palette of warm reds and browns to add fun and personality to this seasonal home was the focus; special attention was paid to the custom kitchen cabinets and beds, to echo the feeling of summers past, spent on Squam Lake. CRESTVIEW PATH PROJECT INFO DESIGNER LOCATION AWARDS A modern renovation made this multi-generational family home work better for hosting and busy lake life with the grandkids. Swapping the kitchen and dining room created a large open-concept living area centralized on the lake view. A modern kitchen with warm wood cabinets and a natural stone-wrapped hood is a great backdrop to the cozy living room. Nestled by expansive sliding doors is the new dining room, featuring a monochromatic & multi-textural wet bar. Check out the before and after of the same angles below. AWARD WINNING HOME BEFORE & AFTER We have had some decorating advice on other projects from time to time but this is the first time we have had the pleasure of having someone who would take complete control of the entire interior design process from start to finish. Amy Little did an amazing job in listening to what we wanted to accomplish and turning our “wish list” into reality. At the very beginning she asked us what our “style” is and I don’t think we had a very good answer. I remember saying our style is “welcome to the lake”. In the planning stages of the renovation we struggled with the size of the kitchen in its existing space even after relocating the stairs to the basement to the other side of the space. Amy came up with the idea of moving the kitchen to what was the dining room which was under used. We had planned to take out some walls and make the space very open anyway. The result was an amazing kitchen overlooking the family room with a view of the lake and with a generous island to make breakfast for the grandchildren. The flow of the main floor is so much better than before. When selecting finishes, Amy gave us two, maybe three good options, not overwhelming us with too many choices. Her recommendations for paint colors (we have two friends who are using our colors in their homes), lighting and plumbing fixtures, furniture and wall decor have us thinking “is this our house”? She also gave us a really fun basement with a half bath and wet bar. We think the style or our home turned out to be a pleasant mix of a little contemporary, a little traditional and a little rustic. The neutral tones work so well together with a little touch of blue in the bar area. We are pleased to say that our home does very much say “welcome to the lake”. We highly recommend Amy and Home Comfort! David & Mary Sue

OAK ISLAND PROJECT INFO DESIGNER LOCATION This family carriage house is as an extension of our 'Ravens Cove' project. The use of bold color and youthful pattern serve as a landing pad for the grandchildren and the occasional adult guests to expand into. A face lift with new paint, flooring, bathroom remodel, and kitchen surface updates have made turned this space from formal to fun! See the befores below for a transformational experience. 1/1 BEFORES My husband and I bought a family vacation home on Lake Winnipesaukee and we live in Maryland. I had no idea how I was going to get this home ready for my family. The home was sorely in need of major decorative overhauling and, of course, it had not a stick of furniture. My sister, who also bought a home on the lake recommended the folks at Home Comfort and I am so grateful she did. Amy Little, our designer, got together with us to discuss what feel we wanted in the home, how we would use the home and good understanding of our tastes and was quickly off and running. It was very easy to work with Amy. Her style is very laid back and our feedback was always taken in stride. The amazing thing for me was the design elements (paints, wall coverings, flooring, lighting and furniture selection) quickly made our vacation property feel like home!! Amy did a truly wonderful job working with us to offer up options and worked well even by email and with calls to make all the selections easy for us. She found capable contractors to help with lighting and painting, so the delivery and installation of everything was worry-free. We had an aggressive date for our move-in and they made it – the home was transformed and looked wonderful, exceeding our expectations. I can whole-heartily recommend Home Comfort for all your home styling projects. The experience and results could not have been better for us. The friendly folks at Home Comfort will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with everything they do for you. Jenny Morgan & David Rice

MODERN FARMSTEAD PROJECT INFO DESIGNER LOCATION In collaboration with Lakes Region Design, Home Comfort designer Suzanne Smith transformed this 1800s barn, nestled on a sprawling 40-acre property with panoramic views of Lake Winnisquam and the majestic surrounding mountains, into a modern farmhouse retreat. The barn conversion seamlessly blends rustic charm with contemporary sophistication. Introducing new post and beam timbers brought the exterior beauty of New Hampshire into the interior spaces. As you enter, the vaulted ceiling adorned with custom built-in cabinetry draws the eye towards a striking stone fireplace, creating a cozy focal point for the living area. A new wet bar, complete with a round bar-height table, elevates the hosting experience, offering a stylish spot for social gatherings. The adjacent dining room echoes the expansive built-ins, providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests. A generously sized 10-person table encourages lingering conversations, making every meal a communal experience. The kitchen underwent a complete transformation with updated cabinet doors, fresh paint, and the addition of a warm brick backsplash. The island becomes a central hub, while the barnwood wrapping around the range hood pays homage to the home's rich history. In the living area, thoughtful design choices come to life. Custom upholstery delineates two distinct seating areas, maintaining an open and airy feel. Soft sofas flank the fireplace, creating an ideal setting for movie nights, while leather swivel chairs take advantage of the breathtaking views in all directions. Custom window treatments serve a dual purpose, unifying the space while providing privacy and a sense of warmth. The result is a harmonious blend of comfort and style, inviting the residents and guests to unwind and relish the beauty of their picturesque surroundings. With all the modern amenities seamlessly integrated, this barn conversion is not just a home but a testament to the artful fusion of history and contemporary living. ISLAND RETREAT PROJECT INFO DESIGNER LOCATION This retreat on Cow Island underwent quite the transformation starting with a coat of fresh paint and a new stacked stone feature wall. Mixing in modern furnishings, which complemented some existing pieces, along with adding some unique lighting and a Scandinavian style wood-burning stove helped modernize this space. The warm earth tones and watery blues make this feel like a lakeside retreat in nature. All that's left to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the plentiful wildlife. Check out the videos below for a glimpse of the before and afters! 1/2 1/1 BEFORE & AFTER VIDEO
