Marilyn Richards Joining the Home Comfort design team after several years designing for private estates, hotels, and residential properties, Marilyn is eager to discover what her clients want most from a space.  "I find that the most important first question to ask a client is how they intend a room to function, and how it will ultimately feel when lived in.  I am passionate about collaborating with a client to create spaces which show their personality; each room should feel like a perfect fit."

Sheryl Baker "An essential part of the design process is being aware that creating living spaces is a very sensory process; you have to connect with the emotions you want a room to emit. I love to create cozy, warm, inviting spaces our clients just can't wait to live in, rooms that have a soul."  Sheryl's vast design experience and creative ardor is an exceptional addition to the Home Comfort team.

Caroline Snyder Interior designer Caroline, who directs the merchandising of the Home Comfort showrooms, finds that her favorite aspect of design lies in the finishing touches.  "After we've chosen all of the colors, fabric and furniture, I love to put a room together.   It's so rewarding to make the process tangible, and add all the details.  People fall in love with the details, they're what catch the eye and create conversation."

Karen Dolbear Karen brings to the Home Comfort team many years of experience in the furniture industry, as well as a keen eye for design.   "I love creating room plans, and determining the most attractive and functional room layout for a client.  It's enjoyable to help people realize that the success of a room depends not only on the fabrics and furniture we've helped to choose for a space, but also how those choices are to be showcased."

Stephen Tocci An accomplished interior designer, Stephen joins the Bedford store's design team, with several years experience in the design and home staging field.  Stephen's passion for design is contagious; he makes it easy for our clients to fall in love with the collaborative, creative process involved in designing a space.  While listening closely to what our clients' ultimate goals for a space are, he is able to determine how to not only bring an empty room to life, but also perhaps utilize a treasured heirloom within a new space.  " I was always moving the furniture around in my parent's home as a kid; I knew at a very early age that interior design and all its possibilities was the path for me."

Roberta Sheridan  A career professional in the design and home furnishings business, Roberta joins the Bedford Home Comfort location and brings with her a wealth of experience, as well as a great eye for design.  Roberta is adept not only in the field of design, but as an artist and gourmet chef/instructor.  She has created faux wall finishes for some of the area's fine homes, and her attention to detail is exemplary.  Energetic and motivated, Roberta works diligently to bring our clients' vision to life.  "It's not only the end result of a project, but the process of design, which I find so rewarding.  Sometimes all it takes is a small addition to a room make it fresh, and I love showing our clients how we can help them do this. Our showroom is filled with great solutions!"

Betsy Jancic  Home Comfort is excited to welcome Betsy to our Bedford location's showroom sales and design team.  With an artist's sense of the importance of color and texture in a room, Betsy is ready to assist our clients in choosing the right furnishings and accessories to help add just the right touch to a room.  "A few years back, after completely redesigning my own kitchen, from start to finish, and actually loving every step of the process, my goal to continue with my dream of becoming an interior designer was solidified.  At school I was able to hone my design skills, and through a variety of different projects since, my goals have been realized."

Jill Peterson  One of Home Comfort's unique offerings is our experience in window treatments, for any window, in any room. Jill Peterson is our resident expert in this field, and can help our clients find just the right treatment to complete a space. With over 14 years of space planning and design experience, as well as being a Certified Window Treatment Specialist, Jill looks forward to helping our clients navigate the vast 'world of window treatments'.  "No project is too big or too small; we don't forget how important window treatments are in the overall design of a room, whatever the size."
